Sir Syed Ahmad khan, His Services

 Sir Syed Ahmad Khan was a great visionary leader and Muslim reformer of the 19th century. the like of who is rare. He struggles for the intellectual development of Muslim people through education. He was the first Indian leader who donate to the institutional foundation of Muslim modernization in South Asia.

Education work 

The supreme interest of Sir Syed was an education in its widest sense. for this motive, he delivered the blow services.

  •  he inaugurated the school in Ghazipur in 1863.
  • He established a school also in Muradabad in 1856.
  • He established the scientific society in Aligarh.
  • He went to England in 1869 and stay there for two years, there he observe the education system of England, and in return, he established M.O.A high school. for modern and eastern education. After two years M.O.A was upgraded to college in 1877. In 1920 it become a university.
  • Moreover, he circulated translations of many educational texts and issued a bilingual journal in Urdu and English.
  • He circulated the monthly journal Tehzeeb- UL - Ikhlaq, in which he outlined the ethical elements of his whole life.
  • He jotted down Ain - i- Akbari.
  • He composed Risala -i- Asbab- baghwat in 1859.
  • He set up a scientific society.

Religious Reformation 

He composed a book in detail to answer back William's minor blasphemous book "life of Muhammad ".

Political services 

Sir Syed summed up his political viewpoints in these words" India is a continent, not a country. It is resided by a vast population of varied races and different creeds. The political services are discussed in the below lines.

  • He composed pamphlets caused by the Indian revolt in 1857.
  • He founded the British Indian association.
  • He was the first person to originate the word two-nation theory.
  • He introduces the idea of separate electorates.

Political views 

  •  Sir -Syed believed that Hindu Muslims are the major nation based on nationality, customs, religion, and historical tradition.
  • He was of the view that after the quiet of British Hindus could not share political power.
  •  Muslims could not accept a democratic setup or Western-type because with a one to four ratio of population, they could be enslaved by the Hindus.
  • There would be a disastrous civil war if Congress persisted in its policy of yoking together the two-nation.
