 The invasion of the subcontinent in about 300BCE from east. the dominant kingdom of the Mauryan emperors was founded in what is now the modern state of Bihar. the Mauryan overthrew all of northern india, Pakistan, and Afghanistan and eventually took the whole of the subcontinent except the southern tip.
