Air Marshall Khan was the first native Commander in chief and then in 1968 become president of pakistan Airline.He established political party tarek istekal in 1970.during this period zulfikar Ali button ruled in pakistan.trek istaklal was the socund most popular party of pakistan.he himself did not support butto and said that we judge butto from here how he restore law and order in the country.Morepver,he  mobilise people to support government elalier but later he joined pakistan national alliances against Butto. In 2012 tarek istekal merged in PTI.

  • Role in Pakistan national alliance

intially tarek istekal support Pakistan national alliance but later their relation relation were not good so that's why he resign from this coup.

  • Struggle against Martial law

He did not support butto but play important role to mobilise educated people.In 1973 Air Marshall Khan arrange protest and forced butto to end marshal law from Pakistan.He also demand mujib removal from exile.

  • Efforts to unite East and west Pakistan

He also did his best to unite east and west Pakistan, in a speech he emphasized that government allowed him to go west pakistan to joined east and west pakistan.


  • Mobilise educated people in society 

Marshall Khan wants to increase his influence on people so that's why he include liked mined people in his party whose support him.

  • Critics when butto Banned Political Parties

When butto banned political parties then air Marshalls Khan challanged butto through artical 48(3) in supreme Court.he said that under artical 48(3) to banned any political party is against freedom of right.

  • MRD

He also joined MRD movement against Zia ullah haq.

  • Latter To Judge of Supreme Court 

In 1996 he wrote a latter to one of the judge of supreme Court in which he said that all banks use PIA money in its own interests but didn't taken any action.

  • Critic on the war of 1965-1971 

Air Marshall Khan also critic butto and ayub Khan after the war of 1965 but in 1971 he support butto to said that yayha was responsible for this war butto not in it.

Golodas park  This is the nicest to visit if you are from Gilgit Baltistan or want to visit Gilgit Baltistan. This place is known as a Golodass park.
