Latest Update regarding National MDCAT 2021

 National MDCAT 2021                                                                                                                    MDCAT id taken every year to choose deserving students as future doctors. Last year students had many issues about syllabus, mismanagement at centers etc. to avoid such issues PMC has taken some major steps this year.  Finally the wait is our Pakistan medical commission shared there decisions regarding national MDCAT Paper pattern, marks distribution in the entry test, subjects for entry test, syllabus has been changed by the PMC. Most importantly testing system has been modified in a good way. These decisions are taken by keeping an eye on student difficulties and for students comfort.  

Marks distribution

overall paper will be of 210 marks. Previously its of 200 marks. its because of the addition of logical reasoning for 10 marks. moreover marks for Physics are increased from 40 to 56. Biology questions are decreased from 80 to 68. likewise Chemistry questions are also 56. 4 questions are decreased in chemistry portion. 20 marks are same as for English. 


                                                                                  

SUBJECTS INCLUDED IN MDCAT 2021                                                                                                                                                                                                                          PMC bring a twist by adding a new subject known as Logical reasoning for 10 marks. and all other subjects are same. Such as physics chemistry biology and English.   



                                                                                                                                                   NMDCAT Syllabus                                                                                                                  Syllabus has been compiled by pmc. it includes Punjab board syllabus, Sindh board syllabus, kpk board as well as A level. Because last year about 60,000 students appeared in NMDCAT. syllabus has been uploaded in PMC website; www.pmc official website.com                                                                                                                                                            Test system, date and total hours                                                                                          MDCAT this year will not be paper based. it will be a computer based test in 20 different centers of Pakistan. unlike last year this will start from August 30 and will be end on 30 September. students have to choose the test date during this one month duration. they have to select three dates according to there preparation and students will be called for test on there preferred date. Furthermore students can change there test date by mailing pmc. students have provided a chance to appear in mock test as well. Total time is of 3.5 hours to complete the test.
