Quadrilateral Security Dialogue)

 The Quadrilateral Security Dialogue, commonly known as the Quad, is a strategic security dialogue between Australia, India, Japan and the United States that is maintained by talks between member countries.

It is an informal strategic dialogue between four democracies; India, japan, Australia and us.These countries  cooperate with each other and formed it to save indo pacific from china expansion policy. 

The idea did not moved ahead because china pull down due to chines pressure. After thirteenth year later India, japan Australia,us turn this into reality and give shape to long pending quad collision .this year join the malabar exercise after an invitation from India.Japan became a permanent partner in 2015.Australia dropped out of the so-called Quad in 2008 after protests from China over its participation in Malabar. The Quad was revived and Australia rejoined Malabar in 2020, although China continues to criticise the grouping as an attempt to contain it.

Objectives

To keep Chinese expansion in indo pacific.

 China using Pakistan land routes for trade that's why it's competitor made this to counter china.

It also promise to protect climatically valuanable countries by providing infrastructure assistance.

It also promised to provide humanitarian assistance and diaster relive to member countries.

Meetings of QUAD

• First meeting held in October 6,2020.
• Second meeting held in India on 26-27 October 2020 in dehli.
• The Malabar series of exercises began as an annual bilateral naval exercise between India and the US in 1992.

• South Pacific Ocean 2023.

According to win ;The Quad Summit in Sydney has been cancelled, but the powerful navies of the United States, India, Australia, and Japan will participate in advanced Malabar 2023 exercises off Australia's east coast from August 11 to 22 this year, practising interoperability, sea deterrence, and sea denial in order to ensure freedom of navigation in 

What these four countries do in these exercise

The annual Malabar exercises incorporates various activities, ranging from fighter warfare operations from aircraft carriers through maritime interdiction operations, anti-submarine warfare, diving salvage operations, amphibious operations, counter-piracy operations, cross–deck helicopter landings and anti–air warfare.
